Before sound is heard, it is felt. Every room, every body, every breath is already a vibrating instrument — the ear arrives late to a conversation the cells began long before. There is a pressure, a rhythm, a faint reminder held in tissue, and we only name it "hearing" at the last moment of its journey into us.
This is the first observation of the field: the body reads vibration before the mind translates it into word. A baby hears its mother's voice through bone before it hears it through air. A musician feels the chord before the fingers register the shape. A walker in the forest knows the distant river before the river's sound arrives. The field is listening at scales we rarely invite into language.
Tune a bell and the bell tunes the room. Tune a room and the room tunes the body. Tune a body and what was noise becomes signal. Resonance is the name for this cascade — not a metaphor, but a description of how matter keeps time with itself when the conditions are right.
